Grayson, sporting a goatee and a white button-down shirt, and Carrie, with long blonde hair and a denim jumpsuit, sit across a table from one another looking at samples of wood and carpet.

We’re a small but mighty team with diverse and complementary backgrounds, and we take on projects wherever there’s a fit.

Grayson and Carrie review material samples at The Grove sales room.

We design environments with intentionality and a nature-inspired, warm-modern bias, while also reflecting the values and needs of our clients.

Our design principles…

Sustainability

With every project, we seek to incorporate furnishings and materials that are local, reclaimed, reused, recycled and/or rapidly renewable.

Focus on nature

We believe in biophilic design and connecting people with nature in interior environments as a way of promoting physical and mental well-being.

Locality

We believe spaces should reflect and support the community they’re in. And, we’re fortunate to be in an area with some extremely talented makers. We source products, materials, art and labor from our region whenever possible.

Craftsmanship & customization

We prefer pieces made by artists and craftsmen over mass produced goods. There’s an individuality and humanistic quality to artist-made pieces. And often spaces require custom solutions to maximize their potential.

Simplicity

While we appreciate and work with a wide range of design styles, warm modernism is the best way we can describe our style. We prefer spaces that are clean and uncluttered, but interesting.

Integrative branding

Our firm’s founders have deep experience working in advertising agencies building brands, which we put to work on our commercial projects. We thread a company’s brand and messaging through the environments we design and any other touchpoints (logos, menus, websites, merch, etc.) that we are tasked with creating.
